This has been a great day! First of all, we slept in and woke to a few inches of snow outside. It was just enough to cancel school (when school is out Garrett and I both are off work), and sled for awhile, but not too dangerous. The boys had the best time at their grandparents house sledding. We taught them how to make really good snow balls(although that came back to bite us in the rear). It was fairly warm, so we were able to play out for quite awhile. We had lunch with Garrett's parents, and headed back home. We checked our email and found about 9 new pictures of Claire, and a little video. We were so excited. She has grown so much, and it is obvious she is in a good place. She looks well fed and well cared for.
Nothing new is going on with our I-600 approval, but we hope to hear something in the next week or two. If that comes, we should be on a plane in 2 or 3 weeks. (still being told the third week of Feb.)
It is almost 11pm here, so I will post a few pics of Claire tonight, and the rest of the pics and video tomorrow. Thank you again Dawn and Jason for taking these great pictures, and loving on our little girl. Seeing that smile is the best thing in the world!

Hope the next 2 weeks fly bye for you and you will be holding her in no time!!! God Bless!
Claire is absolutely beautiful! We're keeping our fingers crossed for a GNR date!!!
How wonderful to get more pictures. I can't wait to see that video. Keeping everything crossed you get the green light in two weeks.
oh so very sweet! I hope you are traveling very soon. She looks so happy & has a wonderful smile. The laugh is just precious.

She IS beautiful, and looks to be very healthy and strong! I can't wait to hear that your approval has come through and that you're on your way to see for yourself.
Whata blessing it is to get video isn't it. back in August we got video of Emaline and we watched it almost every day until we left to get her.
Praying that you get to travel really soon!
As for my blog I think you REALLY misread it. We had an amazing time in Vietnam and are beyond thankful to God to have our daughter home finally. We are pleased with Dillon as whole but Michael and I felt the need to express how we felt about how the staff in VN handled things. Generally my blog has been positive (even though we went through a lot of crap with our adoption) and I apologize if you read something into it that wasn't there. If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to email me at jmvarn@gmail.com.
Praying you are holding that little cutie pie soon!
